The Johnson County, Kansas District Court announced today the decision to cancel in person hearings for a period of thirty days. This could have an impact on processing motions, as the court is already rescheduling hearings. We will be updating clients as we learn more.
“Due to the recent cases of the coronavirus in the Johnson County area, the civil department here at the 10th Judicial District has made the decision to cancel any in person hearings for the next 30 days. We do realize the inconvenience in this, however, this decision was not made lightly. This decision was made for the safety of the public, and staff. “
